Growing Indigenous Food Sovereignty

Carrying Our People Through Food, Land, and Culture

Tepiniwew is an Indigenous-led nonprofit strengthening food sovereignty, community wellness, sustainable agriculture, and locally driven economic opportunities across our region.

Why This Work Matters

Too many families face limited access to fresh, healthy, and culturally meaningful foods. Tepiniwew works with communities and partners to strengthen local food systems, share knowledge across generations, and create lasting opportunities rooted in land and culture.

Our Work

Connecting families with locally grown, raised, and harvested foods through wellness education and community-based programming.

Supporting local growers and community partners through responsible agriculture, shared resources, and culturally grounded practices.

Planning shared cold storage, food processing, packing, and distribution resources to strengthen local and regional food systems.

We support opportunities for youth, families, and knowledge keepers to learn through gardening, traditional foods, harvesting, and caring for the land.
